Appreciative Inquiry at the University of Virginia

Appreciative Practice Quarterly Luncheons

Appreciative Practice Quarterly Luncheons are an occasion for

  • Fellowship
  • Sharing updates and progress on AI initiatives throughout the School of Medicine and the Medical Center
  • Appreciative check-ins & celebrations
  • Gaining a “appreciative edge”

Please let us know what we can bring to the luncheons (besides brownies!) to make them more meaningful for you and your team. Email Natalie with any suggestions.  Stay tuned to learn more about our upcoming Appreciative Practice Picnics, informal monthly lunches to learn from each other about specific AI techniques.

This is also an excellent opportunity to invite your colleagues who have asked, “What is this Appreciative Inquiry all about?” We would love to have them join us.

As a way to contribute to our institution’s fiscal health, we now ask folks to bring their own lunches.  Peggy will bake brownies.  Invitations and reminders are sent out via the Appreciative Practice Mailing List. If you would like to join the mailing list, please contact Cathy Keefe-Jankowski.

2009 luncheons are scheduled from 12 to 1:00 on the following dates:

Friday, September 11th

Friday, December 4th

Luncheons are held in the Medical Center Board Room, 2nd level of the Link or the Claude Moore Nursing Education Building, Room 1102.  Check the AI Calendar page to know for sure.
